Well, Shinji needs the exercise...and Syrtis wanted to come say hi.

[The Sylveon looks up at Jayce, big eyes sparkling happily.]

This is the Eevee I helped you with before.

Oh, you don't say? Well, hello again.

[Jayce reaches down to give the Sylveon a quick rub on the head before going into the kitchen to bring out two mugs of tea. He places one before his guest and keeps one in his hands.]

[She takes it, and Teki nuzzles back, purring.]

Whenever you're ready, let's get this show on the road.

Agreed. Hey, Rutherford!

[Jayce calls out to his Scyther. It hovers into the room.]

This is my Scyther, Rutherford. He's looking forward to evolving.

[The Scyther bobs up and down in assent, and then Jayce activates his Warp Band.]

Well, hello there Rutherford.

[Yuuna does the same after waving at the floating bug.]

Here we go!

[And the first trade is complete! Rutherford glows brightly as he begins to evolve. The increasing weight also causes him to land on the floor, standing on his changing feet. When the glow dies down, a Scizor stands where a Scyther once hovered.]

Oho. This was more impressive than what I was expecting.

[Teki looks up at the big bug and trills in greeting. My, you changed color!]

Definitely. Scizor are pretty stout.

Which is exactly what we both want. Now, let's complete the task.

[Warp Band engaged and ready to trade back!]

[She bends down to rub Teki's fur a bit as the fuzzball scampers over, happy to be "home" as it were.]

[Rutherford carefully walks over to where Jayce is sitting. He places a hand on the Scizor's forehead.]

[She looks around the lab, taking a sip.]

Got any fun projects going on, Professor?

Right now, primarily a group project. We found what appears to be a self-powered vehicle down in the Old City and we're analyzing it. We might even try to replicate it.

Self-powered? How so? With electricity? Or something else?

[She's heard about Rotoms...and she's had Zedd pull her bike along with his magnetic fields before.]

It looks like the power source is a sort of generator. We're not sure how it works yet, but I think there might be some kind of fuel source it used.
